Beautiful organic material- hemp Table Runner created from Hmong tribal of Taphin- Hmong hill village - Lao Cai province- North of Vietnam
The central pattern is completely hand-drawn using the wax relief method. The artisan drew the pattern using hot beeswax and the cloth was afterwards dyed. The sewing work and embroidery on the other patterns mixed with various vintage pieces from Hmong batik hemp patched together and delicately by hand.
3 Copper coins are added for decoration on both ends. ( Total 6 decorative copper coins)
Multi purpose for using: table runner, wall hanging, bed runner blanket, decoration blanket...
Dry clean, Hand wash in cold water. Do not mix with bright color clothes. Then hanging, turn the inside out and avoid direct sunlight to the color fades a lot. While hand washing, put a bit of salt. Do not use bleach when washing and no iron on direct main surface.
Note: The product is made by naturally and traditional dyed. It is common for the color to fade out when hand washing.
Due to made by hand- the color of the embroidery and indigo dye pieces may be a little bit different from those in the pictures.
